To our valued patients:

We sincerely hope that you and your families are in good health and are staying safe. Our community and country have been through a lot the past few months, and all of us are very much looking forward to resuming our normal routines. While quite a bit has changed in recent times, one thing that has not is our commitment to your health and safety.

We are now open for business so that we may begin to serve your dental health needs again. We want you to know that infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, ensuring that your dental care is very comfortable and, especially, safe. We follow the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association® (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our practice has always followed the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new guidelines that may be issued and have certainly been following all of the changes and guidelines associated with the COVID-19 virus.

Because of these new guidelines, you may see some changes when it is time for your next visit with us. We have made these changes to help protect you, our patients, as well as our dental office team. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you before scheduling your appointment to ask you some screening questions, and you will be asked these questions again when you arrive at the office. We will also be taking your temperature on your forehead.
  • We will ask you to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer when you enter the office.
  • You may notice that for now our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, books or other certain items that are difficult to disinfect.
  • Your appointments will be managed to allow for as much social distancing as possible between patients. This might mean fewer options for appointment times for now.
  • We want to minimize patient wait times in the reception area, as well as reducing the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. In order to do this, we will stagger appointment start times throughout the day and ask that you do not bring any unnecessary guests with you to your appointments. If they can wait in the car, that would be preferable.

Our dental team is looking forward to seeing you again, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the measures we are taking in order to keep all of you and our staff safe while you visit our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 541-754-9322 or contact us through our website.

Thank you all so much! We truly value you and your trust and loyalty. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Sincerely,

Dr. Ryan Sparks and our entire dental team
